Xeno Counterstrike is the sequel to Xeno Invasion adding more start worlds and game cards plus a new concept: frontier worlds. Together these two expansions form the Race for the Galaxy Xeno Wars arc and should not be combined with any other expansions. Up to 4 players can play Xeno Counterstrike without Xeno Invasion. With it a 5th player can be added and the optional counterstrike game played.
