Micah Lancaster presents a challenging workout that teaches players how to separate from their defender in any situation- giving them the confidence to deal with any type of defender they might face. Coach Lancaster uses on-court demonstrations to show eight different ways players can improve their performance by creating separation with the basketball.

Coach Lancaster demonstrates three detailed drills for each area of separation. Using medicine balls, boxing gloves, and weighted basketballs, players learn how to protect the basketball while attacking the rim for a layup or creating an open jump shot. In addition, he teaches players how to train on their own by showing the drill and providing ways to break it into smaller segments.

Coach Lancaster is also a master at taking old school drills and turning them into efficient, challenging drills for the advanced beginner.
