The primary adapter ring is separately machined at a 37 degree angle to assure a positive connecting surface. The stainless steel holding pin secures the mating nut to the main seal body providing a full and unobstructed swivel. All angles are mandrel bent  eliminating sharp changes in direction for optimum flow. Enlarged flats on the socket provide an excellent non-slip gripping surface. The hex designed brazed nipple provides a greater holding area for greater strength and easier assembly.
