The number 20 VIH Whole House Water Filter System 150166 is ideal for residential commercial and industrial water filter applications. The Valve-in-Head (VIH) patented technology allows for easy water filter cartridge replacement. The pressure release button on the cap allows for release of the whole house water filter pressure in order to more easily unscrew the sump from the cap. Whole house water filter housings extend the life of washing machines water heaters and other household appliances by reducing sediment before it reaches the appliances. The 20-inch standard whole house housings have thick walls for increased strength. The Valve-in-Head involves a simple half-turn of the shut-off valve in the cap to shut off the water supply when changing a water filter. No need to purchase additional shut-off valves (saves $10). Leaking and clogging is prevented by the dynamically sealing self-cleaning o-ring.
